I was a part time knife maker for over 10 years, and a fulltimer since July 1996. I am a member of the American
Bladesmith Society, North Carolina Knifemakers Guild, and the Arkansas Knifemakers Association. My passion for knives began at an early age
as a small boy. The first knife I ever owned was a keychain
springback folder my grandad gave me. The love for knives has
grown stronger ever since, and has now led to my profession. My
previous profession was in the Nuclear Power Industry from which I
resigned so as to pursue knife making full time. As a result of working in the Nuclear Industry in both mechanical repair and management supervision, I am accustomed to meeting extremely high quality standards. The same high standards of quality are a part of my
knifemaking. My work is some what unique from other knifemakers.
I take custom orders on a regular basis. All my knives are made of high carbon steels such as my own hydraulic weld mosaic damascus, traditional pattern-welded damascus, 5160,1084,1095,15N-20,O-1,and 52100. I employ differrential heat treatment in every blade. All blades are forged and either full quenched or edge quenched.
Thanks for stopping by the shop. Please check back in the future for additions to the Knives section and Art Gallery.
